I subscribe to a website that offers mp3 (and other formats) of a podcast. Unfortunately, when I click on the download link, it allows me stream the mp3, but there's no way to save it, at least in Safari.

I downloaded Firefox Mercury which claims to allow file downloads. However, while I can successfully download the mp3, when I click on the file in Mercury's file browser, it will not play the file. In fact the file appears as a generic document, despite having the proper .mp3 extension.

Anybody know a good way to deal with this? Does Firefox Mercury require anything else to play the files it downloads?
