I was looking through a couple of apps tonight trying to get a few dope wall papers and most of the apps would even let you look at any before have the price pop up that you need to pay to continue.
When I opened this app I was astonished at the quality of the wallpapers. Most of them which were completely free!! All HD and there’s options for landscape, portrait or original for picture orientation. Super customizable with incredible quality, it was exactly what I needed.
Aside from the massive free collection there are certain papers where you just watch an ad video and you get access to the wallpaper.
I normally don’t leave reviews but this app deserves it 100%. I’m amazed!
10/10 Hands Down the Best Wallpaper App
There is nothing to debate. This is the best free way to get wallpaper for your phone. I started out using their website for wallpaper for my computer and later discovered this app, which to my liking, is just as amazing as the website.
I am pretty picky about my wallpaper, and not even really about the actual picture, but the quality. This app will know what kind of phone you have and adjust all chosen wallpapers you download to the best quality, the actual resolution of your device. No other app competes, so just download this already.

So I never leave reviews because there’s so many apps that are so alike that it gets monotonous. However, I’ve been looking for a free wallpaper app with great HD pictures for a few days now and I’m glad to say this is the BEST wallpaper app I’ve ever used!!!! My favorite feature is the when you select All and use the Streaming feature - MARVELOUS!!!!!

Don’t update
I got this app years ago, I loved this app, the pics are gorgeous. I even paid to have the adds removed for a cleaner viewing experience.
This update though, they’ve come up with some program called Diamond, which is a subscription based service. They’ve “locked” the best looking wallpapers and pictures so you either have to subscribe to their “Diamond” program or have to watch an ad to see the pic. I PAID TO NOT SEE ADS ALREADY!!!
I got a response from them when I complained, saying that they weren’t getting enough revenue because not enough people were utilizing the pay-to-remove-ads option. They used pretty words and said that they had costs, etc. I understand that and I’m not against apps making money, but I think it’s an injustice not to “grandfather” the people who did pay earlier to remove ads into the system. According to them, because they weren’t getting enough revenue, it can’t be that many people that they’d have to Grandfather in.
I’ve deleted what I once thought was a GREAT app. ‘‘Tis a pity!

Since the beginning
I love this app, I got my first iPod touch when I was in 3rd grade and I wanted awesome wallpapers for it. So after some help with friends we discovered that this app was just released. I’ve been using this app since the beginning and I gotta say it’s getting better and better. It’s cool to see the evolution of an app that you love through out the years as the Developers learn what the people are interested in.
Thank you so much for making a beautiful app with now so many features than there was more than 5 years ago, almost 10!! Keep up the great work!
And yes, to the people looking into this app, definitely recommend. I understand there are ads. How else will they make money? If you can sacrifice a 11 second ad to unlock something, than your good to go.

Thank you so much Samus for the review! I'm one of the developers here. It's feedback like yours that make our hard efforts worthwhile. Thanks for noticing that we've added a ton of features lately. We (the developers including myself, IT team, server team, and content admins) have been working really hard to add these new features. One of our new features coming on board soon is a sleep feature that helps you analyze your sleep. Our goal is to inspire as many people as possible, and also help you sleep at nights. We think this is a bigger impact than just wallpapers alone, even though we're still primarily about bring the best, high-quality, and positive/inspirational content. Our content admins filter out all bad images--which frequently isn't a fun thing to do, to say the least, since there are a lot of bad pictures out there (if you know what I mean).
As for the locked content, thank you for understanding this. We've tried our best to keep our operations going, while minimizing the headaches to our users as much as possible. Maintaining an entire team is actually very expensive, and we're trying to move away from the ads experience since we find that it does cheapen the experience. That's why subscriptions are the only real sustainable option for us. However, we do provide a lot of unlock options: a reward video, and also unlocking by inspiring a friend. We spent a long time developing these unlock features, and we know other apps don't spend as much time as we do to tightly integrate, develop, and QA these features. We do make mistakes from time to time, but we try our best to fix issues right away.

Good, still some flaws...
I really like Kappboom, all of the other wallpapers apps I’ve used makes me watch an ad or even 2 to get the wallpaper and kappboom didn’t make me watch an add for every wallpaper. However, after an update there was the “diamond subscription” and special wallpapers that requires you to either watch an ad or pay for a no ad subscription. There were also live wallpapers that “only worked” for 6s and later phones, I have an iPhone SE which, in fact, came out after the 6, 6s, 6s+, etc. but it didn’t work, I used a friends iphone 7s+ and the live wallpapers still didn’t work. I deleted kappboom for a while and then decided to get it. The live wallpapers were not coming up so now I use it often for both my phone and iPad. Thank you kappboom :)
